The 2025 Night of Hope Gala brought together donors, volunteers, community leaders, and supporters from across Chilliwack for an evening dedicated to hope, recovery, and transformation. The event took place on May 3, 2025, at Bridlewood’s Event Centre in the Chilliwack River Valley, where attendees gathered to celebrate the essential work of Ruth and Naomi’s Mission.
Ruth and Naomi’s Mission is a long-established organization providing shelter, meals, addiction recovery programs, transitional housing, and supportive care for individuals and families facing homelessness or crisis. Their services play a crucial role in strengthening the social fabric of Chilliwack and offering pathways toward stability, healing, and renewed purpose.
This year’s gala highlighted powerful personal stories from men and women currently in the organization’s recovery programs. Their messages of courage, transformation, and determination resonated strongly with the audience, earning standing ovations throughout the night. Guests also participated in both live and silent auctions, with all proceeds directed toward expanding and enhancing key community services.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and community partners, the 2025 Night of Hope Gala raised $240,000, surpassing the organization’s fundraising goal. These funds will directly support the expansion of the men’s recovery program from 23 to 37 beds, increased capacity at Sparrow House for women in recovery, and progress on The Grove, a new 43-room shelter for older adults scheduled to open later this summer.
